“Hello District 15 Friends and Neighbors,

Right now, Idaho is in deep trouble and many are suffering the hardships of our poor state economy. For the last 3 years, Idaho families have seen their median income levels drop. Idaho ranks 48th in personal economic growth; 77 percent of Idaho families are living from paycheck to paycheck at least part of the year. 
A little over a year ago, Idaho was the national leader in new applications for food stamps. I'm outraged: this is unacceptable. For decades, I have been building manufacturing companies from the ground up--companies that serve the national and international markets. The House Leadership and I have gone over what it will take to turn Idaho around and they are excited about me bringing my skills and knowledge of manufacturing to the Statehouse."

About Mark Patterson

Mark Patterson grew up when America was at its best.  Moms didn't have to work to make ends meet.  A man didn’t need a college degree to be able to earn a living to support a family.  Those that had degrees
were really something.  America had many blue collar jobs that produced many wonderful products right here in the U.S.A.

CHILDHOOD
Mark was a Boy Scout, and he was in the Civil Air Patrol. He lost more than half of his hearing when he was 4 years old. This hearing loss made him have to work harder to do things that many just took for granted. Overcoming his hearing disability made Patterson a bit of an over-achiever."
